How do I migrate from Superform v1 to Superform v2?

Updated today

General Questions

What is the V1 to V2 migration?

The Superform V1 app is moving into maintenance-only mode. Migration lets you move your V1 positions directly to V2, where you can access SuperVaults v2, earn $UP rewards, and benefit from ongoing development.

When you initiate a withdrawal from a V1 vault on a supported chain, the app automatically converts this into a "Migrate" flow. Your vault shares are retained in your wallet and become available in the V2 app.

Why should I migrate to V2?

$UP Rewards: Only SuperVaults v2 earn $UP tokens. V1 positions no longer accumulate points.

Better Yields: Access Flagship SuperVaults with more competitive APYs and with $UP rewards on top.

Active Development: V1 is no longer receiving updates. V2 is where new features, vaults, and improvements are focused.

Subsidized Accounts: Smart account creation on v2 is covered for v1 users.

Which chains support migration?

Migration is supported for vault shares on:

  • Ethereum

  • Base

  • Optimism

  • BNB Chain

  • Polygon

  • Arbitrum

  • Avalanche

Your SuperPosition can be on any chain, but the underlying vault shares must be on one of these supported chains.

What positions are eligible for migration?

Your position is eligible if:

  1. The underlying vault shares are on a supported chain (Ethereum, Base, Optimism, BNB Chain, Polygon, Arbitrum, Avalanche)

  2. It is NOT a 2-step withdrawal vault (e.g. Ethena sUSDe)

If your position meets these criteria, you'll see "Migrate" instead of "Withdraw" in the V1 app.

What if I have a 2-step withdrawal vault?

2-step withdrawal vaults are not eligible for the migration flow. These will continue to show the standard "Withdraw" process. After withdrawing from Superform, you must redeem on the original protocol website (e.g. Ethena) You can then manually deposit into V2.

The Migration Process

How do I migrate my position?

2. Connect your wallet

3. Navigate to your position on a supported chain

4. Click the "Migrate" button

5. Review the Migrate Summary

6. Confirm the transaction

7. On the confirmation screen, click Launch Superform v2

8. This will take you to your v2 portfolio at https://app.superform.xyz/home

8. In V2, reallocate to SuperVaults v2 to start earning $UP

What happens to my vault shares during migration?

Your vault shares are retained (not withdrawn). They become immediately available in the Earning tab of your Portfolio in the Superform V2 app. You don't need to re-deposit or take any additional steps to access them. You can then reallocate to SuperVaults v2.

How long does migration take?

Migration completes in a single transaction if the SuperPositions are on the same chain as the vault share. Once confirmed, your position is immediately available in the V2 app. This typically takes a few seconds to a minute.

If your SuperPositions are on a different chain than the vault share you will have to wait up to 30 minutes for the migration to complete. You can track your transaction on scan.superform.xyz.

After Migration

Where do I see my migrated position?

After migration, click the "Launch Superform v2" button on the confirmation screen, or go directly to app.superform.xyz/home. Your migrated vault shares will appear in your portfolio.

How do I start earning $UP rewards?

After migrating:

1. Open the V2 app at app.superform.xyz/home

2. Select your migrated position and click Reallocate

3. Select a SuperVault v2 (Flagship SuperUSDC, Flagship SuperETH, or Flagship SuperWBTC) as your destination

Only SuperVaults v2 earn $UP rewards

Can I migrate and earn $UP immediately?

Migration moves your vault shares to V2. To earn $UP, you need to reallocate those shares into a SuperVault v2 within the V2 app. This is a separate step after migration.

Troubleshooting

I don't see the "Migrate" button

Check that:

  • Your vault shares are on a supported chain (Ethereum, Base, Optimism, BNB Chain, Polygon, Arbitrum, Avalanche)

  • Your position is not a 2-step withdrawal vault

  • You're connected to the correct wallet

If you still see "Withdraw" instead of "Migrate," your position may not be eligible for the migration flow.

I migrated but don't see my position in V2

1. Make sure you're connected to the same wallet in V2

2. Check that the transaction was confirmed on the blockchain

3. Hard refresh the V2 app using CTRL/CMD+R

If your position still doesn't appear after 10 minutes, contact support with your transaction hash.

I have positions on multiple chains. Do I need to migrate each one separately?

Yes, each position requires a separate migration transaction.

Why are my points not showing for some positions?

Points are only on V2 SuperVaults now, V1 is no longer earning points.

What does "maintenance-only mode" mean?

The V1 app is transitioning to maintenance-only mode, meaning:

  • No new features are being added

  • Existing positions must migrated

  • V2 is the primary app going forward
